The technical origin

I was born in Algeciras, in the department of Huila, Colombia, in January 1986. I trained in computer science, and that training is not a footnote to the biography: it is the method. Anyone who learns to design systems learns to look at a company for what it is, a set of processes that take something in, transform it and hand it out, and to spot where the system loses efficiency.

That way of looking is what I later applied to business models, corporate structures and operations in seven countries. I did not change discipline when I went from writing code to running companies. I changed subject.

From founder to shareholder

The first company teaches you to sell. The second teaches you to delegate. From the third onwards you learn the genuinely hard part: a company is not worth what it invoices, but what keeps running when its founder is not in the room.

Rive Enterprises

I serve as chief executive officer of Rive Enterprises, a group present in Spain, the United Kingdom, Estonia and Canada. Its activity is concentrated in B2B strategic consulting, operational restructuring and the integration of data analysis and artificial intelligence tools applied to cost reduction and market expansion.

Running a group spread across several jurisdictions imposes a discipline I then pass on to every client: what is not documented does not exist, and what cannot be audited cannot be defended.

The author

I published the first book in 2019 and the third in 2025. They are not business self-help manuals. They are the ordered record of specific decisions: which ones worked, which ones cost money, and what can be drawn from both.

I write for the same reason I document operations: because it forces precise thinking. An idea that does not survive being written down will not survive being executed.

What I do not do

I do not raise capital from third parties. I do not act as an intermediary in unregulated financial transactions. I do not provide tax advice and I do not incorporate companies on behalf of clients: when a project requires that layer, it is coordinated with regulated tax and legal firms in the relevant jurisdiction, and they sign what falls to them.

Being explicit about the limits does not reduce authority. It builds it.
